The Open Doors Russian Scholarship Project is an international online competition offering tuition-free admission to Master's programs at leading Russian universities.
It is organized by the Global Universities Association with support from the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education and Rossotrudnichestvo.
Applicants from abroad—including foreign citizens, stateless persons, and compatriots living abroad—who hold or are completing a Bachelor’s degree in the current academic year, are eligible to apply for the Master’s track
Note:For Master’s applicants, the Second Stage also involves a proctored online subject exam after profile evaluation.
The exam will focus on your chosen subject area (for example: engineering, natural sciences, IT, economics, etc.).
It is conducted online under supervision — you must prepare a quiet environment, stable internet connection, webcam, and ID verification.
This test is crucial because it shows your readiness for advanced academic study in Russia.
Only those who perform well in this stage will be considered for the final list of scholarship winners.
