The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Scholarship is a fully funded and official international scholarship programme that supports students from IsDB member countries and Muslim communities worldwide. It aims to provide access to high-quality education in fields that contribute to economic growth and sustainable development.
The scholarship covers all major study expenses, including tuition fees, living costs, health insurance, and travel, allowing students to study without financial pressure. The application process is transparent, free of charge, and managed directly by the Islamic Development Bank.
More than financial support, the IsDB Scholarship focuses on developing future leaders who can contribute positively to their communities after graduation. It offers students a reliable, secure, and life-changing opportunity to pursue higher education with confidence and purpose.
Notes
• Applicants must be from a Muslim-majority country that is a member of the IsDB, or belong to a Muslim community in a non-member country, depending on the programme.
• Sometimes you need to provide a letter acceptance from the university that you will apply for it
Note:
• The IsDB-ISFD scholarship may only supplement, and shall not duplicate,
any other source of financial support the applicant might have. If the applicant
is awarded a scholarship, he/she must inform IsDB at that time if he/she has
other sources of scholarship funding.
• Submitting the application or getting admission by the academic institution
does not mean that the applicant has been accepted for a scholarship.
Accordingly, the applicant should not take any action concerning his/her
current engagement or otherwise until notified by IsDB of having been
awarded a scholarship
The scholarship does not cover the following:
• Visa application(s) costs.
• Expenses to bring and/or support a student's family members.
• Extracurricular courses or training.
